Facility Construction
Rhino has extensive experience as an oil and gas facility construction contractor. Our team has built everything from single well batteries to sour oil processing plants. We have journeyman pipefitters and welders on staff with decades of experience. We have built gas plants, satellites, pump stations and similar facilities all over western Canada. We are setup to fabricate piping and structural components at our shop and fab yard in Three Hills and then transport those items to job sites throughout Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan. We can work with 3D modeling, P&IDs, Isometrics, or even the hand sketch your consultant drew up last night. We are adaptable and bring a wealth of knowledge and a positive attitude to each project. With our background in operations and reclamation we are often selected as a contractor of choice for retrofitting projects and we have extensive experience “stick building” and working with our client’s engineering team, designing and building on the fly. Rhino also works with a lot of juniors and start-up producers to get their first wells up and running. We will come in and partner with these driven ownership groups and work together to find the path forward that makes the most sense for our clients. No job is too small, and no client is too cheap, we love growing with our clients and making their vision a reality.
Pipeline Construction
Rhino has been building pipelines since 2012. We have installed virtually all kinds of composite pipelines including CORE linepipe, Fiberspar, fiberglass, HDPE, FlexCord, FlexPipe and FlexFlow. We have an excellent working relationship with manufacturers such as CORE linepipe and Shawcor. Rhino also has extensive experience with steel pipeline installation. We have installed up to 16” diameter steel piping including several multi-line projects and gathering systems. Our crews have completed railroad, hi-way and water body crossings without incident. Our crews include certified sleeve installers compliant with the latest edition of CSA Z245 code. Rhino has installed pipelines throughout western Canada from southwestern Manitoba all the way to northeastern BC.
