Fabrication Shop

Rhino has a fabrication shop located NE of Three Hills, just off of Hwy 21 which is a designated high load corridor in Alberta. Our fabrication shop serves the function of supporting our field crews by producing the pipe spools and structural components, stairs, landings and walkways that are needed for our facility projects. Additionally our fabrication shop builds modular packages, skids, process equipment and components. We build a lot of pump skids; disposal pumps, LACT pump units and transfer pumps. We can produce turn-key process packages including skid manufacturing, building installation, electrical and instrumentation. We also do a lot of refurbishment at our fabrication shop including refurbishing separator packages, pump skids, header buildings, compressors and so on. Rhino is certified for repair and alteration of ASME section 8 division 1 pressure vessels.

Blasting & Coating

As part of the process for many of our projects it is often required to complete internal blasting and coating of piping spools. When our clients hire us they can have this all done in one convenient place. Rhino is equipped to complete internal blasting and coating to NACE standards. We have been inspected by NACE inspectors and work regularly with our client’s and their NACE coating inspectors to ensure the highest quality product. Typically we work with the DevChem product line, Devo 253 or 256.

Light & Medium Duty Trucking Services

To support our other services Rhino offers light and medium duty trucking services. We are often called upon to “hotshot” fittings and supplies to our clients for their construction projects or turnarounds. Additionally, we will load and haul client packages to our shop for refurbishment or truck completed packages to the field. This is just one of the ways that Rhino rounds out our offering as a comprehensive service provider.
